Bridging classrooms and college: Vita Schools teams up with Accelerate ASU

Andrew Lee, founder and CEO, or Vita Schools.

Vita Schools is partnering with Accelerate ASU to bring flexible, university-led dual enrollment to high school students, expanding access to college credit and real-world learning.

A new partnership between Vita Schools and Accelerate ASU is redefining what high school can look like by integrating flexible, tech-enabled dual enrollment directly into the school experience. The collaboration brings ASU faculty–taught college courses to Vita’s project-based learning model, giving students an opportunity to earn widely transferable college credit while still in high school—without traditional barriers like GPA, transcript reviews or applications.

Accelerate ASU, one of the largest university-led dual enrollment programs in the country, empowers schools with a turnkey solution: over 60 high-quality, online courses aligned with first- and second-year college curriculum, taught by ASU professors. These offerings allow students to explore in-demand fields like sustainability, entrepreneurship and health care at their own pace. Learners only add a course to their transcript if they earn a grade they’re satisfied with, removing the pressure and risk often associated with college-level coursework.

For Vita Schools, the goal is to create a more future-ready model of education—one that fuses project-based learning with college-level opportunities and mentorship. The partnership reflects a growing recognition that students benefit from seeing themselves as capable of navigating higher education early on, particularly those from underserved backgrounds who may not otherwise envision themselves on a college pathway.

At its core, this collaboration underscores ASU Learning Enterprise’s commitment to expanding access, fostering adaptability and meeting learners where they are. It’s not just about earning credit—it’s about building confidence, agency and belonging in college-level spaces.
